Why?

Because, we all have our addictions. Some people smoke, others drink, still others sit for hours playing nickle slots.

For me, the addiction is magazines.

When I go to Barnes and Noble I head for the magazine rack. There are literally a thousand titles offering everything I need to know for the week, month, quarter and the all so revered annual issues. Everything is glossy. So I asked myself, what if it had always been like this? What if there were this many magazines a hundred years ago? Two or three hundred years ago? What would Queen Isabella paged through while waiting on Columbus? What would a Revolutionary War solider have curled up with the night before they taxied Washington across the Delaware? And what would one have found in Queen Victoria's loo?

All these, and more will be revealed here, in original artwork.
